Winnie-the-Poohreadthetwonoticesverycarefully,firstfromlefttoright,andafterwards,incasehehadmissedsomeofit,fromrighttoleft.Then,tomakequitesure,heknockedandpulledtheknocker,andhepulledandknockedthebell-rope,andhecalledoutinaveryloudvoice,"Owl!Irequireananswer!It’sBearspeaking."Andthedooropened,andOwllookedout.
