           Corneliusunderstoodwhatwaspassinginthemindofthegirl,attheverymomentwhenthesuspicionaroseinherheart.

           “Yes,andaffordinghimyourhelpthisevening,youhaveforgottentheabusewhichheheapedonyouthismorning.Oh,sir!thisismorethanhumanity,thisisindeedChristiancharity.”

           Corneliuscasthiseyesonthebeautifulgirl,quiteastonishedtohearfromthemouthofonesohumblesuchanobleandfeelingspeech.
