           Wewhisperedaswepointedthisouttooneanother,andbecamemoreandmorecautiousinourascent.Presentlywewerecloseunderthegrating,andbypressingmyfaceagainstitsbarsIcouldseealimitedportionofthecavernbeyond.Itwasclearlyalargespace,andlitnodoubtbysomerivuletofthesamebluelightthatwehadseenflowfromthebeatingmachinery.Anintermittenttrickleofwaterdroppedeverandagainbetweenthebarsnearmyface.
