           AnnefoundinMrsSmiththegoodsenseandagreeablemannerswhichshehadalmostventuredtodependon,andadispositiontoconverseandbecheerfulbeyondherexpectation.Neitherthedissipationsofthepast—andshehadlivedverymuchintheworld—northerestrictionsofthepresent,neithersicknessnorsorrowseemedtohaveclosedherheartorruinedherspirits.
