           CharlesHayterhadbeenatLymeoftenerthansuitedher;andwhentheydinedwiththeHarvillestherehadbeenonlyamaid-servanttowait,andatfirstMrsHarvillehadalwaysgivenMrsMusgroveprecedence;butthen,shehadreceivedsoveryhandsomeanapologyfromheronfindingoutwhosedaughtershewas,andtherehadbeensomuchgoingoneveryday,therehadbeensomanywalksbetweentheirlodgingsandtheHarvilles,andshehadgotbooksfromthelibrary,andchangedthemsooften,thatthebalancehadcertainlybeenmuchinfavourofLyme.ShehadbeentakentoCharmouthtoo,andshehadbathed,andshehadgonetochurch,andtherewereagreatmanymorepeopletolookatinthechurchatLymethanatUppercross;andallthis,joinedtothesenseofbeingsoveryuseful,hadmadereallyanagreeablefortnight.
