           Shewasobligedtokneeldownbythesofa,andremaintheretosatisfyherpatient;andthustheycontinuedafewminutes,when,toherverygreatsatisfaction,sheheardsomeotherpersoncrossingthelittlevestibule.Shehoped,onturningherhead,toseethemasterofthehouse;butitprovedtobeonemuchlesscalculatedformakingmatterseasyCharlesHayter,probablynotatallbetterpleasedbythesightofCaptainWentworththanCaptainWentworthhadbeenbythesightofAnne.
