Ericwentintothesittingroomforafewminutesonhiswayback,withthesweetswellhiddeninhistrouserspockets.Hisfamilywereallsittingthere:MommyandDaddyandBobbyandBetty,havingcoffeeafterdinner.ButtodayErichadnotimetolinger.TheideahadcrossedhismindtoaskthemtocomeandmeetKarlsson,butonsecondthoughthedecidednotto.TheywouldonlystophimfromgoingupontheroofwithKarlsson.Theyhadbetterseehimanotherday.
Ericpickeduptwomacaroonsfromthecoffeetray(hadn’tKarlssonsaidthathewantedcakes,too?)andscuttledofftohisroom.
