           Laterhewasneverabletorecollectthesequencesanddetailsofthatdream:attemptstorememberitproducednothingmorethanatangleofdarkimages,underexposedinthedarkroomofhismind.Therewasagirl.Hehadmethersomewhere,andnowtheywerewalkingacrossabridge.Itspannedasmalllake,inthemiddleofatown.Thewindwasrufflingthesurfaceofthelake,makingwavestippedwithwhitecaps,whichseemedtoShadowtobetinyhandsreachingforhim.Downthere,saidthewoman.Shewaswearingaleopard-printskirtwhichflappedandtossedinthewind,andthefleshbetweenthetopofherstockingsandherskirtwascreamyandsoftandinhisdream,onthebridge,beforeGodandtheworld,Shadowwentdowntohiskneesinfrontofher,buryinghisheadinhercrotch,drinkingintheintoxicatingjunglefemalescentofher.Hebecameaware,inhisdream,ofhiserectioninreallife,arigid,pounding,monstrousthingaspainfulinitshardnessastheerectionshe’dhadasaboy,whenhewascrashingintopubertywithnoideaofwhattheunpromptedrigiditieswere,knowingonlythattheyscaredhim.

           Hepulledawayandlookedupward,andstillhecouldnotseeherface.Buthismouthwasseekinghersandherlipsweresoftagainsthis,andhishandswerecuppingherbreasts,andthentheywererunningacrossthesatinsmoothnessofherskin,pushingintoandpartingthefursthathidherwaist,slidingintothewonderfulcleftofherwhichwarmedandwettedandpartedforhim,openingtohishandlikeaflower.
