Almostasswiftlyashehadimaginedit,shehadtornherclothesoff,andwhensheflungthemasideitwaswiththatsamemagnificentgesturebywhichawholecivilizationseemedtobeannihilated. Herbodygleamedwhiteinthesun. Butforamomenthedidnotlookatherbody;hiseyeswereanchoredbythefreckledfacewithitsfaint,boldsmile. Hekneltdownbeforeherandtookherhandsinhis.
‘Haveyoudonethisbefore?’
