           Twoweeksbeforetheendoftheterm,theskylightenedsuddenlytoadazzling,opalinewhiteandthemuddygroundswererevealedonemorningcoveredinglitteringfrost.Insidethecastle,therewasabuzzofChristmasintheair.ProfessorFlitwick,theCharmsteacher,hadalreadydecoratedhisclassroomwithshimmeringlightsthatturnedouttobereal,flutteringfairies.Thestudentswereallhappilydiscussingtheirplansfortheholidays.BothRonandHermionehaddecidedtoremainatHogwarts,andthoughRonsaiditwasbecausehecouldn’tstandtwoweekswithPercy,andHermioneinsistedsheneededtousethelibrary,Harrywasn’tfooled;theyweredoingittokeephimcompany,andhewasverygrateful.
