Ihadindeedfoundatortoiseontheshore,asbigalmostasIcouldlift,andhadtosseditintotheboat; andIhadagreatjaroffreshwater,thatistosay,oneofmyearthenpots; butwhatwasallthistobeingdrivenintothevastocean,where,tobesure,therewasnoshore,nomainlandorisland,forathousandleaguesatleast.
AndnowIsawhoweasyitwasfortheprovidenceofGodtomakethemostmiserableconditionmankindcouldbeinworse.
