           AyearagoJohnnyFontanehadsatinhisplushoffice,theofficeofthemoviecompanyheheaded,andfeltaslousyashehadeverfeltinhislife.Whichwassurprisingbecausethefirstmoviehehadproduced,withhimselfasstarandNinoinafeaturedpart,wasmakingtonsofmoney.Everythinghadworked.Everybodyhaddonetheirjob.Thepicturewasbroughtinunderbudget.EverybodywasgoingtomakeafortuneoutofitandJackWoltzwaslosingtenyearsofhislife.NowJohnnyhadtwomorepicturesinproduction,onestarringhimself,onestarringNino.Ninowasgreatonthescreenasoneofthosecharming,dopeylover-boysthatwomenlovedtoshovebetweentheirtits.Littleboylost.Everythinghetouchedmademoney,itwasrollingin.TheGodfatherwasgettinghispercentagethroughthebank,andthatmadeJohnnyfeelreallygood.HehadjustifiedhisGodfather’sfaith.Buttodaythatwasn’thelpingmuch.

           Andnowthathewasasuccessfulindependentmovieproducerhehadasmuchpower,maybemore,thanhehadeverhadasasinger.Beautifulbroadsfeltalloverhimjustlikebefore,thoughforamorecommercialreason.Hehadhisownplane,helivedmorelavishlyeven,withthespecialtaxbenefitsabusinessmanhadthatartistsdidn’tget.Thenwhatthehellwasbotheringhim?
