           "What!areyoubackagain?"heasked,insurprise. 

           "Doyounotseeus?"answeredtheScarecrow. 

           "ButIthoughtyouhadgonetovisittheWickedWitchoftheWest." 

           "Wedidvisither,"saidtheScarecrow. 

           "Andsheletyougoagain?"askedtheman,inwonder. 

           "Shecouldnothelpit,forsheismelted,"explainedtheScarecrow. 

           "Melted!Well,thatisgoodnews,indeed,"saidtheman."Whomeltedher?"
