Thechiefextendedhisarm,andtakingtheotherbythewrist,theyoncemoreexchangedfriendlysalutations.ThentheDelawareinvitedhisguesttoenterhisownlodge,andsharehismorningmeal.Theinvitationwasaccepted;andthetwowarriors,attendedbythreeorfouroftheoldmen,walkedcalmlyaway,leavingtherestofthetribedevouredbyadesiretounderstandthereasonsofsounusualavisit,andyetnotbetrayingtheleastimpatiencebysignorword.
