Theheavenswerestillstuddedwithstars,whenHawkeyecametoarousethesleepers.CastingasidetheircloaksMunroandHeywardwereontheirfeetwhilethewoodsmanwasstillmakinghislowcalls,attheentranceoftherudeshelterwheretheyhadpassedthenight.Whentheyissuedfrombeneathitsconcealment,theyfoundthescoutawaitingtheirappearancenighby,andtheonlysalutationbetweenthemwasthesignificantgestureforsilence,madebytheirsagaciousleader.
