Thewholepartynowproceeded,followingthecourseoftherill,keepinganxiouseyesontheregularimpressions.Thewatersoonflowedintoitsbedagain,butwatchingthegroundoneitherside,theforesterspursuedtheirwaycontentwithknowingthatthetraillaybeneath.Morethanhalfamilewaspassed,beforetherillrippledclosearoundthebaseofanextensiveanddryrock.HeretheypausedtomakesurethattheHuronshadnotquittedthewater.
