AwayinthesouthFrodocouldseethedimshapesofloftymountainsthatseemednowtostandacrossthepaththattheCompanywastaking.Attheleftofthishighrangerosethreepeaks;thetallestandneareststooduplikeatoothtippedwithsnow;itsgreat,bare,northernprecipicewasstilllargelyintheshadow,butwherethesunlightslanteduponit,itglowedred.
