           "Oh,bother! Itain’tanything. Idon’tminditabit. I’lltakecareofyou." 

           Sidappeared. 

           "Tom,"saidhe,"auntiehasbeenwaitingforyoualltheafternoon. MarygotyourSundayclothesready,andeverybody’sbeenfrettingaboutyou. Sayain’tthisgreaseandclay,onyourclothes?" 

           "Now,Mr.Siddy,youjist’tendtoyourownbusiness. What’sallthisblow-outabout,anyway?" 

           "It’soneofthewidow’spartiesthatshe’salwayshaving. Thistimeit’sfortheWelshmanandhissons,onaccountofthatscrapetheyhelpedheroutoftheothernight. AndsayIcantellyousomething,ifyouwanttoknow." 

           "Well,what?"
