           Anothertime,AuntPetuniahadbeentryingtoforcehimintoarevoltingoldsweaterofDudley’s (brownwithorangepuffballs). Thehardershetriedtopullitoverhishead, thesmalleritseemedtobecome, untilfinallyitmighthavefittedahandpuppet,butcertainlywouldn’tfitHarry. AuntPetuniahaddecideditmusthaveshrunkinthewashand, tohisgreatrelief,Harrywasn’tpunished. 

           Ontheotherhand,he’dgottenintoterribletroubleforbeingfoundontheroofoftheschoolkitchens. Dudley’sganghadbeenchasinghimasusualwhen, asmuchtoHarry’ssurpriseasanyoneelse’s,therehewassittingonthechimney. TheDursleyshadreceivedaveryangryletterfromHarry’sheadmistress tellingthemHarryhadbeenclimbingschoolbuildings. Butallhe’dtriedtodo (asheshoutedatUncleVernonthroughthelockeddoorofhiscupboard) wasjumpbehindthebigtrashcansoutsidethekitchendoors. Harrysupposedthatthewindmusthavecaughthiminmid-jump. 

           Buttoday,nothingwasgoingtogowrong. ItwasevenworthbeingwithDudleyandPierstobespendingthedaysomewherethatwasn’tschool, hiscupboard,orMrs.Figg’scabbage-smellinglivingroom. 

           Whilehedrove,UncleVernoncomplainedtoAuntPetunia. Helikedtocomplainaboutthings: peopleatwork,Harry,thecouncil,Harry,thebank, andHarrywerejustafewofhisfavoritesubjects.
