           «Iknowyouaskedforadoll,»hergrandfathersaid,smilinginthecorner.«Ithoughtyoumightlikethisevenbetter.»

           Thenextday,hergrandfathertaughthertoride,runningbesideherdownthewalkway.WhenSophiesteeredoutoverthethicklawnandlostherbalance,theybothwenttumblingontothegrass,rollingandlaughing.
