           “Fortunately,boatswain,Huntdoesnotseemtobequarrelsome.Heappearstobeaquietmanwhodoesnotabusehisstrength.”

           Anobservationhadjustgiven55°7’latitudeand41°13’longitude.ThislandcouldonlybetheIsledeSaintPierre—itsBritishnamesareSouthGeorgia,NewGeorgia,andKingGeorge’sIsland—anditbelongstothecircumpolarregions.
