"Iamnotatallsure,"saidKangainathoughtfulvoice,"thatitwouldn’tbeagoodideatohaveacoldbaththisevening.Wouldyoulikethat,Roo,dear?"
Piglet,whohadneverbeenreallyfondofbaths,shudderedalongindignantshudder,andsaidinasbraveavoiceashecould:
"Kanga,Iseethatthetimehascometospeakplainly."
"FunnylittleRoo,"saidKanga,asshegotthebath-waterready.
"IamnotRoo,"saidPigletloudly."IamPiglet!"
"Yes,dear,yes,"saidKangasoothingly."AndimitatingPiglet’svoicetoo!Socleverofhim,"shewenton,asshetookalargebarofyellowsoapoutofthecupboard."Whatwillhebedoingnext"
"Can’tyousee?"shoutedPiglet"Haven’tyougoteyes?Lookatme!"
