Anotherganglaysthecaneinthedrill,placingtwostalkssidebysideinsuchmannerthatjointswilloccuronceinfourorsixinches. Thethirdgangfollowswithhoes,drawingearthuponthestalks,andcoveringthemtothedepth,ofthreeinches.
