Therewasnotimetobewasted. TheIronManallowedhimselftobetakentopieces,arms,legs,body,head,allseparate,soeachpartcouldbeflownouttoAustraliaonadifferentairliner.Hewastoobigtobeflownoutinonepiece.
AtthesametimeashipsailedfromChina,loadedwithgreatirongirders,andanothershipsailedfromJapanloadedwithfueloil.TheIronManhadorderedthese. ThegirdersandtheoilandateamofengineerswereunloadedonthebeachofNorthernAustralia, nearthespace-bat-angel-dragon’sneck. ThentheIronMan’spartswerelandedatthesamespot, andtheengineersfittedhimtogether. Hestooduponthebeachandshoutedhischallenge.

Thespace-bat-angel-dragonsatupslowly. Hehadnevernoticedthefussingoftheboatsandaeroplanesdownthereonthebeachnearhisneck. NowhegazedinsurpriseattheIronMan,whoseemedverytinytohim,thoughhisvoicewasbigenough.

ThenhepeereddownagainattheIronMan,whiletheechoofhislaughwasstillrollingroundtheearth. Hepeereddownoutoftheskyatthisoddlittlethingonthebeach,withtheeventiniermenscuttlingaroundit.
