Heswayedinthestrongwindthatpressedagainsthisback.Heswayedforward,onthebrinkofthehighcliff.
Andhisrightfoot,hisenormousironrightfoot,lifted–up,out,intospace,andtheIronMansteppedforward,offthecliff,intonothingness.

DowntheclifftheIronMancametoppling,headoverheels.CRASH!CRASH!CRASH!
Fromrocktorock,snagtosnag,tumblingslowly.Andashecrashedandcrashedandcrashed
Hisironlegsfelloff.
Hisironarmsbrokeoff,andthehandsbrokeoffthearms.
Hisgreatironearsfelloffandhiseyesfellout.
Hisgreatironheadfelloff.
Alltheseparatepiecestumbled,scattered,crashing,bumping,clanging,downontotherockybeachfarbelow.

Silence.
