           Thescoundrelsandthemanintheredtieweresittingatasmalltablenearthewindow.Theywereeatinganddrinking,andthescoundrelswerepattingtheoneintheredtiecordiallyontheshoulder,saying,"We’reverygladwemetyou,Oscar!"

           "I’mveryglad,too,"saidOscar."Whenyoucometoatownlikethis,it’sreallymostimportanttofindgoodfriendsthatyoucanrelyon.Otherwisenooneknowswhatmighthappen.Youmighteasilyfallintothehandsofrogues."

           Thescoundrelsnodded.

           "Yes,indeed,youmighthavecomeupagainstrogues,"saidone.
