Thecurtainsweredrawnandthefireburnedmerrily. OnthewoodboxsatMr.Nilsson,bangingpotlidstogether. Inacornerstoodthehorse,forhetoohadbeeninvitedtotheparty.
NowatlastTommyandAnnikarememberedthattheyweresupposedtocongratulatePippi. TommybowedandAnnikacurtsied, andthentheyhandedPippithegreenpackageandsaid, "MaywecongratulateyouandwishyouahappyBirthday?" Pippithankedthemandeagerlytorethepackageopen. Andtherewasamusicbox!
