InthatwayPippi,Tommy,andAnnikacametositonsomebeautifulredchairsrightnexttothering. TommyandAnnikaturnedaroundseveraltimestowavetotheirschoolmates,whoweresittingmuchfartheraway.

Oneofthemhadstoppeddirectlyinfrontofthechildren. Annikadidn’tliketohaveahorsesonearheranddrewbackinherchairasfarasshecould, butPippileanedforwardandtookthehorse’srightfootinherhands.
