           Shespokeasthoughherheartwerefluttering.Shehadcertainlyturnedverypale. 

           ‘Youhaven’tbrokenanything?’ 

           ‘No,I’mallright. Ithurtforamoment,that’sall.’ 

           Sheheldoutherfreehandtohim,andhehelpedherup. Shehadregainedsomeofhercolour,andappearedverymuchbetter. 

           ‘It’snothing,’sherepeatedshortly. ‘Ionlygavemywristabitofabang.Thanks,comrade!’
