May9. —Wenttothewreck,andwiththecrowmadewayintothebodyofthewreck,andfeltseveralcasks,andloosenedthemwiththecrow,butcouldnotbreakthemup. IfeltalsotherollofEnglishlead,andcouldstirit,butitwastooheavytoremove.
May10,11,12,13,14. —Wenteverydaytothewreck,andgotagreatdealofpiecesoftimber,andboards,orplank,andtwoorthreehundredweightofiron.
