HereIstayedabouttwentydays,leftthemsuppliesofallnecessarythings,andparticularlyofarms,powder,shot,clothes,tools,andtwoworkmen,whichIbroughtfromEnglandwithme,viz.,acarpenterandasmith.
Besidesthis,Isharedtheislandintopartswiththem,reservedtomyselfthepropertyofthewhole,butgavethemsuchpartsrespectivelyastheyagreedon; andhavingsettledallthingswiththem,andengagedthemnottoleavetheplace,Ileftthemthere.
