           THEVERDICTTOBEPASSEDonthethirdplanetaroundSolwasneverindoubt.TheOldOnesofthefourthplanetwerenotomniscientandintheirwaywereasprovincialashumans.Grokkingbytheirownlocalvalues,evenwiththeaidofvastlysuperiorlogic,theywerecertainintimetoperceiveanincurable"wrongness"inthebusy,restless,quarrelsomebeingsofthethirdplanet,awrongnesswhichwouldrequireweeding,onceithadbeengrokkedandcherishedandhated.
