ThePatagoniansurveyedthemattentivelyforafewminutes,andspokeagaininanotherlanguage.Butthissecondidiomwasnomoreintelligiblethanthefirst.Certainwords,however,caughtGlenarvan’searassoundinglikeSpanish,afewsentencesofwhichhecouldspeak.
