Thebucklewasagreatyellowstone,roundofoutline,deepandcurved,asifayieldingglobehadbeenpresseddown.Itshoneandglowed,asthoughaveritablesunlaywithin;theraysofitslightseemedtostrikeoutandillumineallround.Flankingitweretwogreatmoonstonesoflessersize,whoseglowing,besidethegloryofthesunstone,waslikethesilverysheenofmoonlight.
Andthenoneitherside,linkedbygoldenclaspsofexquisiteshape,wasalineofflamingjewels,ofwhichthecoloursseemedtoglow.Eachofthesestonesseemedtoholdalivingstar,whichtwinkledineveryphaseofchanginglight.
