Thirdly:thefindingofthelampsintheboudoir.TerawithherastralbodycouldhaveunlockedthedoorofCorbeck’sroominthehotel,andhavelockeditagainafterherexitwiththelamps.Shecouldinthesamewayhaveopenedthewindow,andputthelampsintheboudoir.ItneednothavebeenthatMargaretinherownpersonshouldhavehadanyhandinthis;but—butitwasatleaststrange.
Fourthly:herethesuspicionsoftheDetectiveandtheDoctorcamebacktomewithrenewedforce,andwithalargerunderstanding.
Fifthly:thereweretheoccasionsonwhichMargaretforetoldwithaccuracythecomingoccasionsofquietude,asthoughshehadsomeconvictionorknowledgeoftheintentionsoftheastral-bodiedQueen.
