HedidnottellGandalf,butashewasspeakingagreatdesiretofollowBilboflamedupinhisheart—tofollowBilbo,andevenperhapstofindhimagain.Itwassostrongthatitovercamehisfear:hecouldalmosthaverunoutthereandthendowntheroadwithouthishat,asBilbohaddoneonasimilarmorninglongago.
