           "What’sthat,Strider?Itdon’tlooklikeacloud,"saidSaminawhispertoAragorn.Hemadenoanswer,hewasgazingintentlyatthesky;butbeforelongSamcouldseeforhimselfwhatwasapproaching.Flocksofbirds,flyingatgreatspeed,werewheelingandcircling,andtraversingallthelandasiftheyweresearchingforsomething;andtheyweresteadilydrawingnearer.
