Itwasafull-grownmosquito,onethathadlainfrozeninadrylogallwinterandthathadnowbeenthawedoutbythesun. Hecouldresistthecalloftheworldnolonger. Besides,hewashungry.
Hecrawledovertohismateandtriedtopersuadehertogetup. Butsheonlysnarledathim, andhewalkedoutaloneintothebrightsunshinetofindthesnow-surfacesoftunderfootandthetravellingdifficult.
