FromhispositionsquattingatPaul’sleft,GurneyHallecksaid:“Icountninelevelstoit.MustbequiteafewSardaukarinthere.”
“Fivelegions,”Paulsaid.

Paulswungthetelescopetoscanthefarwallofthebasin,seeingthepockmarkedcliffs,theslidesthatmarkedthetombsofsomanyofhisfather’stroopers.
