Halleckledthefileofmenintotheroom,thestaffofficerslookinggrimlyseriousfollowedbytheyoungeraidesandspecialists,anairofeagernessamongthem.Briefscuffingsoundsechoedaroundtheroomasthementookseats.Afaintsmellofrachagstimulantwafteddownthetable.
