ThenKingLeodegrancedeliveredhisdaughterGuineveretothemessengersofKingArthur,andalsotheRoundTablewiththehundredknights.
Sotheyroderoyallyandfreshly,sometimesbywaterandsometimesbyland,towardsCamelot.Andastheyrodealonginthespringweather,theymadefullmanysportsandpastimes.And,inallthosesportsandgames,ayoungknightlatelycometoArthur’scourt,SirLancelotbyname,waspassingstrong,andwonpraisefromall,beingfullofgraceandhardihood;andGuineverealsoeverlookedonhimwithjoy.Andalwaysintheeventide,whenthetentsweresetbesidesomestreamorforest,manyminstrelscameandsangbeforetheknightsandladiesastheysatinthetent-doors,andmanyknightswouldtelladventures;andstillSirLancelotwasforemost,andtoldtheknightliesttales,andsangthegoodliestsongs,ofallthecompany.
