ButonthenextdayArthurledhisarmyonceagaintotheattack,andwithwoundsandslaughtersuchasnomanhadeverseenbefore,hedrovetheheathenstepbystepbeforehim,backwardsandupwards,tillhestoodwithallhisnoblestknightsuponthesummitofthehill.
