Atthatthemessengerslookedsteadfastlyonthelad,andaskedwhohewas.OnesaidhisnamewasMerlin;another,thathisbirthandparentagewereknownbynoman;athird,thatthefoulfiendalonewashisfather.Hearingthethings,theofficersseizedMerlin,andcarriedhimbeforethekingbyforce.
