Allthepartyseemedrelievedtofindthatherewasarealgirl,offleshandblood.Shewasverydaintyandprettyasshestoodtherewelcomingthem.Herhairwasagoldenblondeandhereyesturquoiseblue.Shehadrosycheeksandlovelywhiteteeth.Overhersimplewhitelawndresssheworeanapronwithpinkandwhitechecks,andinonehandsheheldapairofscissors.
"MayweseeMissCuttenclip,please?"askedDorothy.
"IamMissCuttenclip,"wasthereply."Won’tyoucomein?"
