Togethertheykilledthefirstpairofgladiators.Otherscametofightthemand,forasecond,Jubalosthisswordasheattacked.Maximuspulledhimclearoftheotherman’sswordandthenstrucktheattackerhard.Hisswordpointcameouttheman’sback.HeandJubaworkedtogetherasateam.Theywerestrongandfast,andmanyoftheattackinggladiatorswerekilledbythem.
Hakenfoughtwithgreatpower.TheGreekwassoonkilled,andHakencutofftheman’shandsoitwaseasierforhimtomoveaboutinthearena.
