           "Mr.Lydgate,praybeopenwithme:Iliketoknowthetruth.HasanythinghappenedtoMr.Bulstrode?"

           "Somelittlenervousshock,"saidLydgate,evasively.Hefeltthatitwasnotforhimtomakethepainfulrevelation.
