           "Howmuchmoneydoeshisfathermake?" Onlythendotheythinktheyknowhim. Ifyoutellgrown-ups, "Isawabeautifulredbrickhouse,withgeraniumsatthewindowsanddovesontheroof..." theywon’tbeabletoimaginesuchahouse. Youhavetotellthem,"Isawahouseworthahundredthousandfrancs." Thentheyexclaim,"Whataprettyhouse!" 

           Soifyoutellthem: "Theproofofthelittleprince’sexistenceisthathewasdelightful, thathelaughed,andthathewantedasheep. Whensomeonewantsasheep,thatprovesheexists," theyshrugtheirshouldersandtreatyoulikeachild! 

           Butifyoutellthem:"TheplanethecamefromisAsteroidB-612," thenthey’llbeconvinced,andtheywon’tbotheryouwiththeirquestions. That’sthewaytheyare. Youmustnotholditagainstthem. Childrenshouldbeveryunderstandingofgrown-ups.

           "Onceuponatimetherewasalittleprince wholivedonaplanethardlyanybiggerthanhewas,andwhoneededafriend..." Forthosewhounderstandlife,thatwouldsoundmuchtruer.
