TheysleddedseventymilesuptheYukon,swungtotheleftintotheStewartRiver,passedtheMayoandtheMcQuestion,andheldonuntiltheStewartitselfbecameastreamlet,threadingtheupstandingpeakswhichmarkedthebackboneofthecontinent.
