           “Betweenyouandme,sir,”remarkedJapp,“I’dsoonerhaveanyamountofrumoursthanbearrestedformurder.AndIventuretothinkyourpoorladywouldhavefeltthesame.And,ifithadn’tbeenforMr.Poirothere,arrestedyouwouldhavebeen,assureaseggsiseggs!”
