HisEnglishagentannouncedthesaleofGermantranslationrightsinthreeofhisbooks,andinformedhimthatSwedisheditions,fromwhichhecouldexpectnothingbecauseSwedenwasnotapartytotheBerneConvention,werealreadyonthemarket. ThentherewasanominalrequestforhispermissionforaRussiantranslation,thatcountrybeinglikewiseoutsidetheBerneConvention.
